From 1963, the first late night anime series for adults. Based on the manga series by K Kojima which has been published weekly since October 1956. Unless I'm mistaken, Kojima still draws a new strip himself every week.
This is one of my favorite Cyborg 009 episodes. The dramatic themes of betrayal, sacrifice and redemption remind me of why I love old school anime so much, and this series in particular.
Megaupload DDLs of episodes 1-14 (subtitled by Sailor Spork Productions) and 15-18 (subtitled by me) are available here: http://skarohuntingsociety.blogspot.com/
